REPEATER
- This system is located South of
Salem about six miles
on one of the knobs of Prospect Hill off Skyline Road at a elevation of
1,000 feet. The system is housed in the Marion County Public Works
building and our antenna is on the county's tower at 100 feet above the
ground.
- The repeater is a new Motorola MTR2000
commercial system
and runs on commercial power with a Tripp Lite UPS, and a standby
generator in case of a commercial power failure. It has a power output
of 100 watts into a 4-duplexer system and is connected to a 10 DB gain
antenna on the tower. The repeater is controlled by a ARCOM RC-210 controller
and has several features.
- This repeater also views the south Willamette
Valley and has coverage from north Eugene to the Portland area.
